Hello, we are MariNerds, currently, we are 7th-grade students attending Harrington Middle School. Twice a week after school we participate in M.A.T.E (Marine Advanced Technology Education) and SeaPerch; both of which are wonderful programs that challenge us more than we thought we were capable of. M.A.T.E. is on Wednesdays and SeaPerch is on Tuesdays. Both of these programs revolve around marine robotics, robotics in the water. We will design robots to complete certain tasks and compete. Our school team goes by the name HMS SeaBots.

ToucanBoy: Mechanical Engineer, and Chief Technology Officer

 

Solstice: Mechanical Engineer, and Chief Executive Officer

 

Blackhole: Electrical Engineer, and maybe Software Engineer, or Pilot for the ROV. Those are roles that will come later, once most of the ROV is built.
